The Blue Panthers played a strong first 24 minutes before having a difficult second half. Gananda led 4-1 at the half and extended their lead to 5-1 with the opening goal of the third quarter. They were then held to only a single goal of the next eleven. By the final three minutes of the contest the Panthers held an 11-6 lead.
